Sirjan Concentrate Plant was inaugurated in  the presence of Dr. Ahmadinejad, the President as well as the ministers of Industry, Mine and Trade , Roads & Urban Development and their respective deputies, Kerman's governor, as well as, Kerman and Sirjan's representative at the Islamic Parliament, some provincial and local mangers and MIDHCO top managers on Tuesday Sep 4, 2012.

At the beginning of the ceremony, after the visit of the President and the accompanying delegation of the Plant Site, His Excellency Dr. Najjar, the honorable Kerman governor while welcoming the president and all the invited guests, appreciated the efforts made by MIDHCO for the development of the deprived cities of Kerman province.

Speaking in the ceremony, Mr. Pourmand, MIDHCO’s Managing Director, praised the efforts made by the Government and the provincial authorities and said: for the first time, the design and basic & detailed engineering of the plant has been undertaken by the Iranian companies and the investment for this project amounts to Rials 2300 billion, 40% of which is in currency and the plant commissioned with 28 months. The plant will lead to direct employment of 250 people.

Later in the ceremony, Dr Ghazanfari, the Minister of Industry, Mine & Trade said in his speech: the construction of this project will guide the private sector for investment and employment. The big industrial projects were used to be constructed by the Government, however today we are witnessing that a large scale, national project has been undertaken by the private sector. Business environment permit the private sector to launch these investments. He also appreciated the banks which contributed to the production boost.

Speaking at end of the ceremony, His Excellency Dr. Ahmadinejad said" We shall construct Iran using Iranian thoughts, praising the endeavors made by MIDHCO for investment in mining industries projects, he said: the integrity of our country is in our hand and inside the country. While cooperating with other countries, we shall take the most advantages from what is hidden deep in our soil. In other part of his speech,
Dr. Ahmadinejad called for facilitation of the relevant rules & regulations to enable transferring mines to MIDHCO.
